Ok here are just a few pictures from the weekend... i'm sorry but my camera is not one of the high speed ones so i don't have many good picture and then there's the problem that my kids preferred to sit in the car listening to their ipods instead of getting mud and dirt spat at them by a bunch of MCD's  8)

Had a Great weekend, had lots of fun driving the SOLS track, broke the car in the second heat was unable to compete in the final but still had a good time. All the Sydney boys are just a Fantastic Group of people that went out of there way to make us welcome , cant wait to go back and have another go. Here are some pics from Saturday , Enjoy

Didnt make the first heat , Had major problems with my wheel adaptors, my wheels kept falling off .the second heat the car stayed together  and by the end of the second lap made my way to the front of the pack , was leading until about lap 8  then i started to slide all over the place, thought it was my driving , but one of the servos had come disconnected, kept driving but broke the car with a minute to go in the second heat

A worthy winner Callan.  You race clean but aggressive mate and your car is absolutely dialled. I hope to work out a couple of handling issues before next round so you can check out the number plates evilair made for the back of my car.  Totally enjoyed the final even though it was short. Sorry for makin it difficult to pass in the second heat without realizing I was not on the same lap.  I got collected by a very enthusiastic competitor a couple of times and Had to wait while the marshal finished his smoko break and put me back on the track. obviously you got a lap on me and I didn't realize.
The final was interesting. I got punted a couple of times trying to get past competitors so I finished fourth but having said that I did some of the best driving I have done and with my little 23 with a stock flywheel and stock crank and a 603 carb I managed to claw back nearly 3/4 of a lap passing third on the last lap after a lot of trouble to get past but overcooking it in the same manouvre and had to settle for fourth.

With a little more time setting up the car it might be time to pull out the big gun and give the oddified 26 a bit of a run. I noticed I was giving away a bit of time up the stright against all the bigger cc motors.  Can't wait till next round .

Here's some footage of my car in action. Have to spend some time and do a build thread soon. My car is the blue one with the high mounted wing.
